Risks and Complications
As with most operations, risks and complications can also occur in the oral and maxillofacial surgery. Bleeding disorders, nerve numbness or hematomas are rare, but possible. These complications are not life threatening and usually do not last long.
The risks for inpatient surgery under general anesthesia meet all other treatments of this kind.
